FINUX

Qoin · Frostnerjo

Quantum-proof fungible tokens.

QOIN is a fungible unit on a homemade Frostchain proof of concept. Keys are hash-based LMS signatures, built to survive a quantum computer. This is not a listing and not an investment.

Quantum-proof

Signatures are LMS_SHA256_M32_H10 with LMOTS_SHA256_N32_W4, RFC 8554. 1,024 signatures per key, then the wallet rotates. Hash-based, not elliptic curves.

Fungible

One QOIN is one QOIN. 11 decimal places. No special series and no starter bundle on this page.

Not private

Unlike Monero, transfers here are public. There are no ring signatures. The layout follows that kind of site. The color does not.

Doge tunnel

One tunnel is being set up between Dogecoin and jacobfrost.frostchain. It is not live on this page.

DJTDVRxJGtcuSsxwT7GHbkdCabqaTa1C7s is jacobfrost.frostchain's personal Dogecoin address, not the tunnel and not a sale. Send only DOGE on its own network. Check the address after pasting.

How it works

  1. Install Graysons Wallet. Android 8.0 or newer. One install adds Graysons Wallet, Frostoise, and MyFrost. The phone will ask you to allow the install, because it is not on the Play Store.
    Download the APK
  2. Create your wallet. Tap Create wallet and write down your 25 words. They are the only way to get the coins back. Never share them.
  3. Connect to the network. Phones on the same Wi-Fi find each other. Otherwise open Node, Add, and enter a public node from the project discussions.
  4. Claim your name. Tap Claim name. A .frostchain name is the receive address. Help goes through contact.

Want to mine instead?

Frostoise mines while the phone hears a pulsed 7.83 Hz tone from any speaker. See the tone mining guide.

Fine print

Graysons Wallet v0.3.0. QOIN has no guaranteed value. Temporal is the time machine that would burn Qoin to run, and it is not live. The rest of finux.tech is demos and drafts.
